Original Art

All of my pieces are very important and close to me which is why I don't name them "Forest Adventures" I give them a real name. Creating any of them effected me just like a person would so I think it is only fitting.

Herne

Named after Herne the Hunter who is a god of vegetation and the wild hunt in British folklore. With the skull of a fox and antlers of a stag he walks through the forest bringing both beginning and end to every corner. He is 8 x 10 inches.

Maponus

Named after the Roman-Celtic god of poetry, music, and youth. Though the raven skull depicted is typically associated with death or as a bad omen I see it differently, I think of the poetry and songs inspired by the singing bird and the life it brought to those otherwise empty chords. He is 8 x 10 inches.

Ceridwen

According to Welch legend Ceridwen is a goddess and sorceress of tremendous power that she used to inspire knowledge and beauty in others and is a mater of the magic of rebirth. Ultimately she desired to help people but knows like everyone does that power comes at a price to those that wield it unwisely. She is 8 x 10 inches.
